3. Registering NEW players with the club


Register a new player with the club

This process is for players who are new to the club who are signing up for the season. If you are registering an existing player in the club please use the process for existing players.

This is a three-step process.

Step 1
Parent/Guardian joins club (green button at top right of www.goddyrovers.co.uk home page) as both a member and a parent (click the relevant buttons on the list) and then adds their child as a player. They receive an email asking them to verify their email address which they need to do.

Step 2
A club Website Administrator approves their request to be a member (parent/guardian) and the request for the child to be a player. The parent receives email confirmation once the request is accepted. (This step may take a day or two).

Step 3 (Only do Step 3 when Step 2 is complete and email accepting membership has been received)

On the website log in and then go to the ‘Shop’ tab.

Choose the 'Full Membership (23/24 season)' product.

Select one of the payment options (either 10 x £16.50 monthly payments or a one off payment of £165).

Press the 'Buy this product' button.

Select the child the product is for. Fill in all the details. Some may be pre-populated but please check and update every box carefully, especially the team name for the 2022/23 season from the drop down list, remembering your child is a year older than last season

Once ALL boxes are correctly filled in press the 'Continue' box at the bottom of the page. If it doesn't continue then scroll back up, there will probably be a box highlighted in red that isn't filled in.

Choose your payment method, fill in bank details etc. Do not click the box at the bottom saying 'more than one person is required to authorise Direct Debits' unless this is the case.

Click the green 'Set up Direct Debit' button and then check the details and click the green 'Confirm' button on the next screen and that should then be set up.
